Have you smelled them yet?

Teenaged boys doused in Axe deodorant and body spray!

I ran across this article written by Jerry Large Seattle Times <-- after hearing a friend mention that her son has been using the stuff and how gross it smells. I find the whole thing a little humorous, especially since I'm not having to deal with it personally.

The Axe Effect <-- you can check out how the product is being advertised and teenaged boys are being targeted.

Axe2grind <-- is a website with a collection of other Axe related advertisement information and videos.

Anybody have an Axe story? I guess if you have not smelled them yet you should just consider yourself lucky!

My boys smell better with the AXE than they do without!!!  Boys are stinky, anyway!  But, i admit, it is difficult to walk near the bathroom after one of them have gotten dressed...it is very strong!  It doesn't last long, though.  JAE

Oh, I've smelled them alright!   PUTRID!!!
Beginning several years ago - between my 3 stepsons and their umpteen friends coming in and out...that stuff is enough to make you sick, my head would begin hurting within 2 minutes of being in the same house with the toxic stuff.  Horrible!!!  I don't wish that on anybody.  Good thing I'm not a Middle School Teacher, I'd have to quit.       blech,  Phinney

OMG Coy!  LMAO!  My ten year old young "man" has decided it is time for his own "stuff".  Did I just hear you ask which one?  Axe of course!  And the sad thing is he has just been diagnosed w/ JLHD.  That's Just Like His Dad in laymen's terms.  Dad has NO IDEA how to apply aftershave/cologne...and unfortunately for me he thinks it's HILARIOUS.  Let's just say our son didn't fall far from that tree...BLEH!  C.  http://journals.aol.com/gdireneoe/thedailies

Thank you for forewarning me right before school starts! I wonder if I can put a disclaimer in my syllabus...no AXE in the Classroom! Ha! I just can't believe this! Well wait...when you think how gullible young men are to women then? But then some women are to men to sooo! Maybe the women (young ladies) should come up with a counter smell to make a point to the men!

I just looked at the sites! OMG! And you know this will trickle down to the younger brothers! On the second site the little disclaimer at the bottoom that no one will click had this at the end...

"Any resemblance to real events or persons living or dead is purely coincidental. Also coincidental is any quality time shared with hot cheerleaders beneath the bleachers after the use of our product(s). The events documented here on AxeToGrind.net, including all videos, photos, audio files and written stories are falsified. In other words, this is a complete joke."

Right but do you think they will understand that!

I have never heard of Axe. From what you say, I think I would rather now smell it lol.

I guess I'm out of the "axe" generation group lol I've never heard of that one!! The only axe story I have is that I've heard the word "axe" a couple of times on talk shows when people use the word in place of "Ask" which makes me laugh lol !! guess that is a geographical thing.

OMG I argue with him every time he's at the grocery store with me...he seems to think he needs more Axe every time we shop. And when he's in his bathroom spraying that stuff on, well heck I might not ever need an exterminator because that Axe is so strong it almost kills humans so I'm sure it would kill poor little spiders and other crawly things ROFL!!
