If seventy is the new forty

and sixty is the new thirty ... does that make forty-five the new fifteen? If so, then why do I feel so ooooooold these days?

Maybe old isn't the right word but stress, fatigue, depleted energy level and urealistic demands being place on me at work, really seem to be taking there toll these days.

I do have about 160 hours of vacation time built up ... maybe I should take a whole month off and do something fun and relaxing, or ... maybe not.

Take some mini breaks along the way so it doesn't build up in the first place & then some lengthier ones also are good from time to time. Do fun things that energize you. Watch sleep & exercise & whatcha eat...that makes a difference for me. Watch now the fall colors are starting.

Yes, there seems to be a theme going around for many.   Regardless...it's great to see you around again!

You certainly should take some of that time and do something to spoil yourself a bit.

And if you come to NJ to see Nettie....please continue on to Long Island to see Nancy and me!!

I feel the same, 99% of the time!  Gosh, taking the whole month off, with pay, sounds devine!  But, to come back to work after being gone for a month, I don't know.........talk about STRESS!

I think the seniors have more energy than we do as they are old enough not to care about daily mundane things and they don't have to work anymore. lol Guess we'll just have to wait till we're "retired" to feel the aniexity go away. lol Hang in there and yes take some VACATION TIME!! Oh, Jimmy buffett was here in Mass and what a fantastic show he put on!! still singing today!!

I would say spread it out and take several vacations or home resting weeks.

I vote for taking a month off. Or at least 3 weeks. We did it! We went to Hawaii! Luckily we have loads of family there to mooch...er...stay with to defray costs. LOL! But it was totally worth it. A nice loooooong break in paradise.
