Round Robin ...

Some of you already know about a Round Robin Photo Challenge that a few of us here in J-Land are taking part in. This week's challenge is crystal, the photo below is an up close look at part of the pattern in an antique crystal bowl that belonged to my Grandmother.

It's been dark and cloudy here all day,  every day, for a while now so not much natural light available to bring out the fire in the crystal, but the photo came out okay anyway.

If any of you are interested in playing along, here is the RSVP link that is found in Steven's, (sometimes photoblog). Below is a list of the others that are playing this week. They are a pretty creative group, can't wait to see what they come up with.

It is absolutely lovely, you picked up the colours very well.  Been warm and sunny here today and supposed to be nice tomorrow but so chilly now, we had a frost last night. Of course it is almost 10p.m.

Wow! If it has that much fire under limited light, it must be amazing when the sun hits it!

Very, very nice.  I LOVE those intricate cut crystal patterns!

I can't imagine that you had as limited light as you claim!  If only there was a ton of sunlight or other light on it...wow!

Very pretty!  I wasn't sure how to handle this challenge as I have NO crystal.  I think it's time I get a crystal vase!  Beautiful picture. :-)

I can see the colors reflecting around in this beautiful crystal shot.
good job coy!
It's kind of hard to capture crystal, don't you think.  it's so beautiful to look at, that it's hard to capture that magic in a picture.

you did a great job. :D

Finding the light and then the angle was tough for me too. Crisp lines on the piece. Sharp!
