100 things #27 Sometimes I’m so afraid of making the wrong choice…

that I will choose not to choose.

Luckily, David seems to have the same tendencies. Sometimes the two of us remind me of these two flamingos I photographed a while back. We look like we’re out shaken a tail feather, but actually we are just being really careful where we step.

Or maybe ... it’s the other way around, maybe all the careful stepping is really just our own imperfect funky flamingo dance, who knows?

It's good to be careful with choices. I kinda like thinking at times we all do the funky flamingo dance when it comes to decisions. (Hugs)Indigo

Indigo is right. One a choice is made and executed, it's impossible to take it back.

The Flamingos are a great metaphor --- sometimes what you see is not always what you get!

Hi, Coy! I find it's hard at times to make decisions as well. I hate being wrong...not sure about why but it could be that I grew up being punished when I did something wrong and it made me very cautious about decisions. Nowadays, I'm just glad that I have the freedom to choose! Maria

Watch where you step... but make sure you're not missing the stars when you're looking at your feet!

You are at full stride over here! I love it! I'm glad to see you back and going strong.

I think I get the deer in the headlights look sometimes about making choices but most times in the heat of the moment I am incredibly decisive. It's the long term slow going choices that I procrastinate on.

Coy, it seems to me that making the wrong choice is one of the easiest things in life to do. One has to do the flamingo dance but also look up, around and back as well. Even so, standing still is sometimes the best choice.
