Since some of you asked

Ok, you know the old saying "watch what you wish for" ?  I think it just might apply here. A few day's ago I was taking a few practice shots with my camera in the back yard and I happened upon this little lizard.

He was sitting really still in the hedge, shedding his skin. No big deal, we all know that they do that, right?

In a matter of seconds after I ran across him he completed his shedding process and the surprise was what happened next ...  he turned around and ate the skin. Eeeek!

     Yep, all of it!

     Gulp!

Next time trust me when I say it might be just a little to much information (LOL)

      Good Night All.

Brown Anole! I've never seen the green anole eat it's skin. Seen them shedding it and they look funny. Nice that it let you shoot a whole set of photos. Most of mine run off when they get tired of the lizard paparazzi!
