Saturday ...

I drove to the beach in the rain today and I

cried, all alone in the rain I cried.

Not for the good things in my life like my family,

my friends and my beautiful daughter.

But for the void, the pain, the emptiness

where such bright light once shined.

While sitting alone in the rain at the beach today, I heard

that close by, a baby Sperm Whale had washed ashore. <--

The first thing that crossed my mind when I heard,

was how sad his mother must be.

I wondered if she too, cried alone in the rain at the beach

today and if her pain felt any different than mine?

Tears, so strong, able to wash away words, worlds,
water our heart strings, lubricate our souls.
Tears for grief, loss, unsaid words.
May all your tears bear sweet fruit.

Let your tears drop in the ocean & be washed into the sea to make fish have a bit more water. They will mix with the love of the ocean & come back to you to tickle your feet & make you laugh!

I've never understood this and doubt I never will and the same when we lose loved ones at an early age like when we lost my son-in law at 32yrs. I know we're taught to believe that there is a higher power and a purpose or a plan to this world and the next but it doesn't help with the loss we feel. I'm sorry for yours and the whale's. Maybe someday there will be answers and cures for all these things we don't understand. Until then I guess we will have to trust that we must and can go on.

(((((((((((((((Coy)))))))))))))))))Here I am jumping on the hug train! Just can't help it.  ;-) Maybe when you retire you will have more time to cultivate your prolific abilites? Then again there's that quote (some may see as a platitude) floating around 12-Step meetings: "If you want the time you must take it" Seize the day my friend! Blessings, Sassy ;-) BTW~I like it just the way it is expressed.
