100 things #3 I was married once ...

it lasted for 17 years. We had 3 beautiful children (still do). Divorced for almost 10 years now.

His name is Brad, he's Cajun he was my best friend until he just wasm't anymore. We had lots of adventure together (loooots of adventure). Our life together was filled with tales to tell.

Our divorce was the divorce from hell ... I havent seen him in nearly 10 years and as much as I loved him at one time, I am finding myself very hard pressed right now to think of anything important I should add about him here. And ... I'm not quite sure why there's a tear in my eye at the moment.

Reminds me of the Kris Kristofferson song, "Loving him was easier than anything I'll ever do again."

I think we still get that tear because no matter how they turned out, we still remember a different time. (Hugs)Indigo

I remember this photo... Such a gorgeous family.

Coy, I know I've told you that you are a brilliant photographer but have I told you that you are a brilliant writer as well? :)

I was married to Cody's Dad for 14 yrs. I can still remember the beautiful man he was...and remember still the man he became. Hence the divorce.

Great post Coy! I wish I could say that the man I married and divorced was my best friend at any time before or during our marriage. That was a blessing for you I am sure. I am sorry the divorce was so bad. Blessings, Lisa

Unfortunately I was in a situation more like Lisa, I never could consider my ex a friend in any way. He was an escape which ended up being more of a prison than what I was trying to escape.

The tear - you had something good at one time and he changed. If Sonny changed and we divorced I imagine I'd have a tear looking back too. Hope that makes sense.
