Bahama Breeze

The best part of spending the whole day helping my Mother with her Christmas shopping yesterday was having lunch with her and my Dad at the Bahama Breeze.

If you are ever out this way, this would be a great place to try. Caribbean food, nice atmosphere and live music at dinner time. This time of year there is usually quite a wait, especially at night but they have a huge gazebo outside by the water where you can get drinks and appetizers while you wait.

Even with all of my time off this month, I did not get my holiday preparations finished early like some of you. It does look like I will be out there until the final hour, trying to get things wrapped up.

I am doing my best to embrace the hustle & bustle of the season and enjoy the decorating, the shopping, the holiday parties, the Christmas card exchanges, deciding on which favorite holiday recipes to use and which traditions to recreate this year.

Hopefully I will find some time this week to stop and enjoy the music, the lights, the decorations and the laughter that the season brings. I love this time of year, busy or not.

Hoping each one of you will find some time to enjoy the little things that matter most this week.

That little eating place sounds delightful.  Bet the food is good as well.  I still have some things to do before Christmas in the cooking department but have had a sore throat all day and feel very under the weather. Becky has a horrible cold so hope I am going to be alright for Christmas. Do take time to enjoy the lights, the sights and sounds, it will be all over and gone again for another year before we know it xxxxx

Bahama Breeze in Boca?  Shame on them for not telling me!  Yes, in total agreement here, it's a marvelous place where one can easily unhook the negative moods of the day at the door....and will have no need for them after being pampered "Bahama Style"...

This season was designed to spread Joy, Good will and hope.....please don't add any extra stress.....If the people you are buying gifts for will look at them to see what is in your heart....then they are looking the wrong way! The best gift you can bring anyone...is your JOY!

........Have a marvelous night!!   Marc

We have a Bahama Breeze here.  It is fun to go there.  But eating outside it out of the question when it's 17 degrees with a windchill of 0.  :-)

Mmm! I was just thinking about Carribean food earlier today. Conch fritters, specifically. I need a vacation to someplace warm. LOL
