Shop 'Till You Drop

I hate the mall, I hate the mall with a Purple Passion. I avoid making unnecessary trips to the mall at all cost.

This time of year it's almost impossible not to make a few trips, even if it's just to see what's out there. Last night was one of those nights for me.

After working all day and then spending 2  1/2 hours at the hospital visiting a friend that so needed the company, my sister called and asked me to meet her at the mall.

Our shopping styles and our budget are complete polar opposites, when you are shopping with Theresa ... you are shopping to buy.

All in all it was a pretty successful outing "note to self, never start the shopping off at the book store and with tools for Dad," no one want's to carry that stuff around all night.

Can you imagine the girl with almost the whole month of December off has not gotten her shopping under control. Ugh ...

Oh, the photo above is of my sister at the end of an exhausting night.

I have been successful in avoiding malls at Christmas for years now.  First thing, there's never anywhere to park.  Then, once you do find parking, you have to walk a mile, just to get in the door of the mall's west wing!  lol  I haven't been to the mall yet this season.  We'll see if I make it without going at all.

I'm not so thrilled with malls much these days either. I did hit an outdoor one tonight but really couldn't find anything that thrilled me. I hate when that happens. I'm looking to spend money and can't find a darn thing that I like but, let me be broke and go and I'll find all kinds of stuff. :-) ---Robbie

I do not like malls either. I usually shop online (no sales tax and some will even throw in free postage and handling during the holidays) or the outlet malls (20% to 75% off on brandnames my children like but I can't afford if I have to pay full price). Glad you got your shopping done because it will get uglier at the mall as  xmas approaches. The last minute shopping crowds are known for assault and battery! LOL.

I'm a mystery shopper so I enjoy shopping, period, no matter where it is! I also do shopping for others & usually get them better deals  by having to stand in long lines, plus I delivery to your office or home & gift wrap...Yep, I'm a stay at home wife with nothing better to do...not really...just a business I started cause I to shop!
