When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.

Ok so we have all heard the old saying about making lemonade. Right? Well in our case life gives us Roses… and Carnations, Snapdragons, Daisies, Lilies, Baby’s-Breath etc…

My sister is in the party decorating business and what a business it is. Someday I will WOW you all with an entry about Party Perfect a behind the scenes look. First I must learn how to add the graphics and photos to HTML. Ahhh for a single 2 day weekend to get it figured out.

Anyway, back to lemonade. Flowers are a big part of Theresa’s decorating medium. Not the main part but defiantly an important part. Soooo sometimes on weekends after arrangements have been created and safely delivered to every corner of town often there are tons of left over flowers. Not wanting these beauties to go to waste and being to totally exhaust to use them herself, Theresa will drop off garbage cans full of beautiful blooms to our door.

So when life gives us lemons we make lemonade, when life gives us flowers we make arrangements and spread beauty and cheer across the neighborhood to our unsuspecting neighbors.

The photos above are of my Mom and Dad doing just that this past weekend. Awww aren’t they cute?

WOW!  Coy I love your new journal.  Will be interesting to tune in from time to time to see what you are doing and where your head's at!  I'm happy your life is coming together.  You are one strong woman, not surprising since you spawned from two wonderful people!  Thanks for sharing your life with me - wish I could put my hands on some of those flowers!!!!

I just finished a flower arranging class so I would love to be the one getting the "leftovers." LOL!! Lucky you. SloMo sent me to your wonderful journal.  Hope you'll stop by and visit.

How lucky for your neighbors!  Awww... you know what else would be sweet?  If you made deliveries to the local children's ward at the hospital, give the little girls nice big bouquets of flowers.  Would that make for HUGE sweet smiles?   Next time you get some lilies, be sure to make up a pretty spread and post a photo!  I love lilies.  Ahhh...  Party Perfect - GREAT NAME!  :D

What a beautiful gesture!  Like neighbors used to be!  I would love to be one of the unsuspecting recipients, and also to have access to so many beautiful flowers.
Your parents are lovely!

Love, Penny

What a thoughtful, thoughtful idea.  A random act of kindness.  No, a thoughtful act of kindness.  Your sister and parents are the best.
