like a spiders web

on a summers day

the mangrove awaits it's prey

you realize you are now thinking in haiku.
this is 17 syllables and makes a verrrry interesting break:

Like a spider's web
on a summer's day, the man-
grove awaits its prey

Good 'ku in the #2 blog today, too, Missy.  I think it's almost time
to include Coy's Koi...after I snatch this one.  But I have several of
my own waiting around for me to stop announcing friggin' contests.

Great photo! I saw tons of mangrove on my trip to Costa Rica.
