Do we look ready for Jeanne?

I think not ...

We were battered and beaten by Frances just a few weeks ago and we are still in the middle of the recovery process. I hate to complain because there were so many of our neighbors that were hit so much harder than we were but...

Geeze, we have not even had time to get the place tidied up yet for our unwanted guest. What do you think will happen to all of this debris in category 3 or 4 winds?

I took these photos this morning on my way to the grocery store for my 11 th hour preparations.

You can hear about it on the "weather channel", you can see it on the local news, you can hear about it from family and friends, but unless you have been THROUGH a hurricane....you can NEVER imagine the loss and devastation !!
My sister just came back from volunteering in FLORIDA from the Arizona Red Cross.  She said it was HORRIFIC !!
I wish you and your family MASS AMOUNTS of HOPE for the next "session" of weather you are facing !!

God Bless and Keep you !!

I don't think Florida or anyone there is ready for Jeanne.  I know my son is ready to leave the state ... like, NOW.

Wishing and praying for the best,

Monica

How much can one state take?? But through it all, you have such a positive attitude that no wonder you are an ispiration to many people. You make the hard times a little easier to take in these horrific times and remind others that all should be grateful for whatever they have or don't have. Keep up the good work girl!!!!

Coy, so sorry to see all the damage Hurricane Frances did to you all.  I feel so bad for you
Found your journal through the Faces journal.  I am really enjoying it.

I saw on the news that some people had JUST gotten their electricity back, only to have it knocked out again.  Eurgh.  That must be the WORST.  Maybe it's better, though, that you're still cleaning up.  Imagine if you'd just gotten everything completely back to normal, only to be hit again.  Either way, it's annoying.  I can't imagine.  We haven't had a real nasty hurricane in so long - they keep going towards Florida and Louisianna.  ::knock on wood::  NO MORE THIS SEASON!
